After the girls had become obsessed with a show about mermaids, we naturally had to take them to the river so they could live out their dreams and practice their mermaid techniques.
Even the kids who didn’t know how to swim were laying at the edge of the water with their feet together to form their tails. And those who could swim were working on their speed since I told them that mermaids in Peru could swim really fast. All in all, it was a very exciting, imaginative, and photo-worthy day.
