Things are Growing at POPPYS House

Literally...

The garden at POPPYS House has quickly become a special part of daily life for the girls here. It started with Ryan cutting poles, putting up the wall, and planting the first seeds.

A baby cucumber!
A baby cucumber!

Now, the cucumbers are growing strong, and we’ve already collected a full bucket from our first harvest.

Rosany says the girls love helping in the garden, especially picking and eating the cucumbers. They’re excited to grow even more: lettuce, peppers, watermelons, tomatoes, and whatever else we can make space for.

This garden is more than just a way to grow food. It’s a fun, hands-on activity that helps with fine motor skills, teamwork, and spending time outdoors. It’s also a great way for the girls to take pride in something they’ve helped build and care for.

We’re proud of what’s growing at POPPYS House—both in the garden and in the girls themselves.
